Profaning God's Grace
But because of Grace, should we continue in sin? Of course not!
MATURITYHELLTRUTH
The profaning of God's grace is on my mind.
Please read through this all the way. It’s powerful and important. I have several long passages of scripture that are linked. I ask humbly that you click the link and read through the passage. If you prefer a version other than King James, the website that you are led to, Bible Gateway, allows you to change it to a different version. The use of this site is gracious and free.
I've had several disagree with some of my writing. Especially about the coming judgment and that some, who think they are making it to heaven, need to reevaluate their life. People say God is love and He is gracious unto us. I say emphatically YES!!! That is why He loved us so much He sent His only Son to become sin so we don't have to pay the price of it. Our only responsibility is to believe. That gets us saved. But we are saved unto good works according to scripture.(James 2) After we are saved we have to strive for the prize of the high calling of God.(Philippians 3:14) The scripture tells us several times to "Be ye Holy for I AM holy".(1 Peter1:15-16) This is a commandment not a request from God. Yet He knows our frailty and in 1 John He sets up provision if we mess up. He said, “I would that ye not sin, but if you do you have an Advocate with the Father which is Christ Jesus.” This is saying we are not supposed to sin. Yet, if we do find ourselves compromised to go to Christ and repent and He is our Advocate or petitioner to Father to get our forgiveness. He loves us so much that He makes this provision.

So, for those that think no one is going to hell, the following scripture is in several books of the New Testament. I don’t know where you would ever think that even Christians that have fallen from grace (walked away from God) and fail to return will be accepted. If Jesus, who was the only begotten of the Father, had to go to hell because He became sin, then those of us that follow after sin, without repenting, will fall to the same state that Jesus fell to. Except, He went as God and returned/resurrected.
The grace is that there is provision made for us to repent (change). Now I know, we don't fully understand God's grace and so therefore I don’t judge. I only express the Truth as I have come to know it through scripture.

Jesus is speaking to His followers, therefore He is speaking to us as well. Here is another scripture on forgiveness. Mark 11:25-26 “25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.” In Matthew Jesus tells the parable of the one that owed the king a bunch of money. (Matthew 18:21-35) The king was going to throw him and his family into prison and the man begged the king for forgiveness. The king forgave him of everything. Then the man went out and caught a guy that owed him a days wages and had him imprisoned for lack of payment. The word got back to the king and the king asked him. “If I forgave you of so much then why wouldn't you forgive your neighbor of such a small amount?" So, the king delivered him to the tormentors.
Jesus went on to say that God gave us the grace of forgiveness but we in turn need to forgive our neighbor. Or the same fate of the dishonest will fall on us. These aren't my words or my opinions, this is straight from scripture. I'm only here to enlighten, instruct, and admonish as the scripture and the ordinances of God gives me authority to do so. We are instructed to rightly divide the Word. God doesn't send us to hell. Our own actions (or lack thereof) does. God gave us provision against it, we just have to receive it and act upon that provision. If food is set before you and you are bid to come and eat, then you starve to death, it isn't because of the Host or Cook.
