Men, Where Are You?

Genesis 3:9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou
1 Kings 19:9 And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the Lord came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah?

I have two questions:
1. Where are you man of God?
2. Why are you there?

God is birthing something in me that is going to speak directly to the men of God that have allowed outside influences to hold them back from fulfilling the call on their lives. They have not risen up and become the spiritual leaders of their homes. They have made excuse after excuse and God says enough! “Man of God what has so easily beset you? Why haven't you stood up and took spiritual authority in your home? Why aren't you prophesying life over your home, your marriage, and your children as God has ordained you to?

I'm not knocking women preaching at all. I know a lot of ministers will disagree with me on this point, but you come at me with one or two scriptures, and I can refute them with 6 or 7 different scriptures. I've sat under several women that have brought forward the powerful, untainted word of God. I'm not posting this to bring about debate. I am posting this as a call to go forward. It’s just time for men to rise. Come on, get up out of the ashes. Take your rightful place as the God ordained leaders He has called you to be.

As men of God, we are called to be a covering for our wives and our homes. Even if your wife is in ministry you ARE her covering. I will go out and be even bolder and speak to these wives. If you are in ministry, you need to be submissive to your husband, as he is submissive to Christ. Because he is your covering. If you are not, YOU ARE IN REBELLION!

The Word says that rebellion is a form of witchcraft. Women if you are ministering and you are single, PLEASE, I implore you make sure you have a GODLY covering somewhere. The days of the vagabond and “lone-rangering” are over. Even Paul brought himself under subjection and support of the Apostles in Jerusalem.

My point here is not women in ministry but asking the men of God where are you? Christ is looking for you! Now is the time to submit to His will and His way.

Man of God why are you where you are? It is time to come out of the man-cave of shame and guilt and laziness. Out from under the curses of pride and loneliness and unworthiness. Time to leave the place of jealousy and importunity and lack. Now is the time to walk into the glorious light of Christ where healing and redemption flow. Walk out of the darkness of the “man cave mentality” and into where the fresh fire and wind can purge and clean and make you holy. Where God can reach you and elevate you into a position where you are impacting the Kingdom of God. COME FORTH LAZARUS and live!
