It's Time To Move!
I feel like God is speaking to us through this. He is telling us that it is time to move!
PROPHETICRISE UPOUTPOURING
"It's time to move!" I kept hearing this in my spirit as I woke this morning.
I asked God, “What are You saying?”
He just repeated, "It's time to move!"
So I began my day with Bible reading and I want to share with you what I read and what I was impressed with in my spirit. Read here the passage in Joshua 3:1-10.
I feel like God is speaking to us through this. He is telling us that it is time to move! If we are not sensitive to the Spirit of God then we will miss this move He is making in the land. The college and university revivals are wonderful, but this is not the move. This is the preparation of that move. It is only the beginning. We have to prepare and sanctify ourselves. We have to drive out the impurities and the compromises we have allowed in our lives as believers. Remember the Word says He is coming after a Bride that has no spot or wrinkle (Ephesians 5:27), who is adorned with His Glory.
As the Spirit of God begins to move there will be a shaking like never before. We are going to see things in “biblical” proportions. Things we thought impossible will be possible and even commonplace. I feel like we are going to see translations as men and women of God (the remnant) are called from one place to another. We are going to see the waters part. We are going to see the enemy physically flee as the enemies of the Israelites did. But we have to prepare!
How can we carry the Glory and stand in the Presence of God Himself if we faint at the feet of our enemy. The Israelites didn't just jump up and follow Him, there were direct instructions as to the protocol of this pursuit. God doesn't change protocol. We want to holler there’s grace. “We have grace!” Now don't get me wrong, I am grateful of the grace that was shown me, but this move is not about grace for those who are supposed to be walking upright already. This about ministering grace to those that we are encountering. As we embark upon the Holy Ground of the “Promised Land”.
But what is that promised land?
Psalm 2:7-11 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Our promised land is the souls we win for the kingdom of God. Not the ones that are churched and have a resemblance of Christianity. They will be the derelicts, the down trodden, the demon possessed, and the oppressed. They are the drunks, the whoremongers, the murderers, and the thieves. Everyone that society has cast down will be our inheritance. And what a rich inheritance it is!
But we move on them as we are instructed. We need to go forth prepared. In Deuteronomy we see where a group of Israelites tried to go too early. It said the enemy descended upon them from the top of the mountain and destroyed thousands of them.
You might hear people say go on and do what God has called you to do. Go in and heal the sick, drive out the demons, and take back the captives. Yes, but hear the Word of the Lord, “Do not go unprepared. Do not go on without protocol and instruction. The enemy is watching and will see and will defeat the effort. But if you will prepare and sanctify yourselves this day, I will come and place upon you a covering that cannot be undone. I will cover you with my smoke and fire,” says the Lord. “I will hover over you in all my glory, but to stand in the midst of it you have to prepare.”
I remember in my ordination process, Pastors Janet and Randal Greene began to teach their “armor bearers” (those who assist and carry out duties within the church and, specifically, to help leaders – similar to deacons) how to stand in the thickness of God's glory. If you were ever in one of their meetings, you would understand what I am talking about. Janet would come under the anointing and begin to minister. Everyone around her would fallout (loose strength and fall down under the power of the Holy Spirit’s presence) in the spirit or begin to laugh in a holy laughter. There were two of us that would go and hold her up, helping her to walk around to those she was ministering to. The glory and anointing would become so thick you could barely walk or even talk. People struggled to stay on their feet when they were getting prayed over. But the two of us had to hold her and move as she gave direction. But we were called to remain upright in the midst of it. The glory all around us and people drunk in the Holy Ghost as in the days of Acts. It was in this training I learned to stand. And stand I will when instructed by God to do so.
I'm not afraid to confront the pharisees of the modern church. The religious that says this is too extreme and unneeded. I am telling you right now to repent and prepare. Discern the spirit of Korah (Number 16, the desire to overthrow those who have been placed by God, the “know-it-all” or “know better” mindset) that has entered the church. Fight against it. One may say, “We hear God as well and we are of this same people. Why are you the one chosen to go forth? Why do you think we can't do it?” I say unto you it’s because you continually walk in the rebellious spirit against God's true authority. You are rebellious and unrepentant. Go ahead, move unprepared, you sons of Sceva (Acts 19), and see what the outcome will be.
Wake up church and prepare, for the ark of the Covenant is on the move to the River Jordan where God will do signs and wonders and miracles that this modern world has never seen. Prepare! Repent! Sanctify yourselves for the hour is upon us!
