Double Yolked

As I was cooking my breakfast, I cracked open an egg. This was funny looking egg because it was double yolked. As I was cooking it the Lord began to speak to me. He said, “There are those out there that are very weary. They have listened to a soothsaying spirit thinking it was Me. It kept telling them to do more, work more, act more, worship more, preach more, prophesy more. It would tell them if you love God, you would do more. I am saying that you are enough. If I have called you to more, I won't need anyone else to tell you.

“Do you think I won't speak to you personally? You are my child. The only thing I have commanded you was to do my decrees. To love Me with all your heart, mind, body, and soul, and to love your neighbors as you would love yourself. You have listened to the witches and warlocks that said build bigger, go further, walk this way or that way, and you forgot the instruction that I gave you, because you operated out of ambition, and it opened the door for the soothsayer to come in and distort and pervert what I have spoken to you.

“Return to the old paths that I have spoken to you about. There you will find My peace once more. There you will find the yoke that I have placed upon you and not the double yoke of man and ambition. You beat and flail at the wind trying to obtain the things I never intended you to obtain. For in so doing you have taken on more than what I intended you to do, and it is wearing you out. Return to Me. Repent and return. I will even now begin to shut the mouths of those that have enticed you. I will shut down the spirit of ambition. I will now dry up the voices that are directing you down the path I have not shown you. Be not amazed or concerned about those you see falling away. Leaders that you thought were raised up to help were the very ones that have spoken these vanities over you. And because they came in My name and I never sent them, you just grabbed a hold without discernment. Even when they subtly came against what I told you to do, you did not recognize it, because it pleased your flesh, and raised up the pride in you.”

“Come to Me all who are weary and heavily laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

“Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:6-7
